Review: Rescued

Rescued (The Runners, Part Three) by Logan Rutherford
Publication Date: September 17th 2011
Genre: YA
Amazon

Summary

Part Three in the #1 Amazon Short Story Bestseller series, The Runners.

Adam and Eve are reeling from a tragic loss, but the sinister minds at Kappa won't let them rest for a second.

One of their own had been taken, and now the Runners must rise up agianst the enemy. All is not as it seems, though. As alligences are being questioned, sides must be chosen.

The Runners will stop at nothing to get answers, but how far is too far?

Rescued is placed moments after the conclusion of Caught, where the characters are thinking about what happen and slightly, how come this is happening to them?

However, in the beginning we get a glimpse into what's going on on the bad guys side and I can't wait to see how that's played out.

Not much new going on in this one. Yes, there is a big action/fighting scene but we don't really learn anything new. Since it is a short story you hope for more, learning quicker than you do in a novel. Ya know. The first two were fast paced and I enjoyed them but this one kind of fell a little...flat. Still enjoyable but something seemed to...lack.

The main characters come to a decision but find themselves in a sticky situation. (kinda of a pun, only once you read it though)

The ending once again makes you to want to read more. So if you enjoyed the first two you'll enjoy this as well.

Up next-

Two birds, One stone
