Summary
Catty has always wanted to find out who her birth mother was, and oddly enough, she has the power to allow her to do just that. When Catty goes back in time, she not only manages to meet her mother, but she also finds out some very disturbing truths about her identity and her fate.
I'm starting to get tired of the series. It's not the books are bad, but it just doesn't feel like it's getting anywhere. And I might rant a little bit.
Then she saw Vanessa, lying on the ground. She got up and went to her. She knelt beside her, cradled her, and held her tightly. In the flashing glow from the lighting, Vanessa's face looked pallid and sickly. Her eyes no longer focused and her heartbeat felt weak and slow.
So, the book's a lot like the other ones. Th characters don't develop more unless they were the main character. And even than not much. The plot follows the same pattern. And nothing really happens til the end.
One thing that really bugs me is that there is a whole lot in the book that doesn't need to be there. It's happened in all the books. I meaan, you could take this book and the last one, both over two hunder pages, take out some of the useless stuff and probably have a three hundred page book, at most.
When you sort out all the main plots and need info for character development, the books are good. But, the books just seemed cluttered. Which is saying something considering nothing really is going on.
The series has potental, but it's just not there. The writing could be better. The plot could use some cleaning up. And the characters need to be a lot more developed. An I just don't know if it will happen.
The book is'nt great. And there are flaws. But, it does have some entertanment vaulue. And I can't bring myself to rate it lower then a three.
