~Summary~

David has been brightening up his gray Surrey, England days with the porn collection hidden in his parents' shed, but when he finds that their American foreign exchange student, Dawn, has discovered his magazines, things really begin to heat up. David's parents insist that he look for a job, but Dawn has the week off and is determined to work on her tan. Distracted David finds himself increasingly tempted by their seductive foreign exchange student, who makes it very clear what she wants.

In spite of the Study Abroad program's policy that no "relations" are allowed between a student and anyone in their host family--not to mention David's mother's insistence that they treat each other as "brother and sister,"--Dawn's teasing ways slowly break down the barrier between them until they both give in to their lust. But what are they going to do about the feelings that have developed between them in the meantime?

NOTE: This story appeared in another book titled NAUGHTY BITS. Previously titled Foreign Exchange, this is a slightly less naughty, but no less sexy re-telling--updated and redressed for your reading pleasure

~My Thoughts~

Um, okay then.

So the reviewers got me curious on this one. Not from the raving reviews but from the apparently lack of story and the multiple steamy scenes. So, I thought, there was no way it was as bad as everyone was saying. I have yet to encounter a story like that so I said what the hell, it's only 160 pages, it won't take me long to read.

I was wrong!

Yeah, it's as bad as everyone says and it took me a little bit longer to read. I would have been able to get through it quicker but I just couldn't handle all the steamy scenes when my Fiancé is 500 miles away from me. And there were a lot of them! Ten+ steamy scenes, at least one or more sexual act happens in all ten chapters. So to say the least, this is one hot read and you better have a partner around to help you out haha.

Now for the lack of story, the author tried to write one but it just got lost with all the sex. That's all this book was, sex. Book porn, yep, you can definitely call this that. So, if you want book porn then check out Yank. But if you're hoping for a New Adult contemporary romance as the summary makes it feel, then you'll be surely disappointed.

In the beginning and the end the author tires to have a story and hope you're as connected to the characters as she is but you're not. You just can't get connected and the sex overpowered the storyline so it looks like there isn't one. I guess if you really think hard on it, maybe it was the authors way of showing us that this was how the characters were able to show their love for each other and come to realize they do love each other. But that's if you think hard on the storyline and try to make sense of it, because let's face it, it doesn't make sense.

And then the author tries to throw in an obstacle and yeah, it wasn't really an obstacle, it was more like dafuaq?! Why is that a big deal and why are you making it a big deal. Yeah, I understand why the parents made sure they had them think they're siblings because they didn't want them bumping each other through the night but for the main guy to actually have like that mental dilemma was just weird. They've known each other since they were kids, the dilemma could have been they didn't want to ruin their friendship. But like I said, none of this made sense and for the author to try to make it feel like a contemporary romance at the end with a heart felt scene was like "Really, now you want to try to make this into a storyline?"

Overall, don't read this if you want an amazing romance because you'll be quite unsatisfied. But if you're looking for a read that'll put a fire between your legs then you've come to the right place because only the sex scenes made sense out of all 160 pages. And sadly to say, that was 3/4th of the book. Just sex. That's all this was, was sex. But don't get me wrong, I like erotic, I write it but I also like my reads to have a story. And this was nothing more but a one night stand for us readers.
