~Summary~

Stripped of her ghost sight gift, Alyx can keep up the pretense for only so long. She wants her gift back, and she’ll do anything to get it.

Even face her traumatic past.

Communicating with restless spirits through paranormal investigating devices is her boss’s idea, turning Alyx into little more than a con artist doing séances all over town. This she can deal with, but losing the link to her sister pushes her to the only option: going back where her ghost sight began. She must return to her roots, in the small town with big secrets, and nightmares for all. Especially true for Alyx, who lost everything back there.

How do you force yourself to remember things you shoved so deep inside you you’re even not sure they’re still there for the finding? Luckily she’s not alone hunting for solutions. Knowing that she's the only one who can finish what was started the night her family died, the villagers take it upon themselves to enlist her into their coven practice. If they can help her recover her memories, then maybe Alyx will not only learn what happened in the house where her family died, but also who the real enemy is – someone a little too close for her comfort.

~About The Author~

She who likes dark things never grew up. She never stopped listening to gothic, industrial and alternative bands like when she was fifteen. She always loved to read horror and dystopia and fantasy, where doom and gloom drip from the pages.

She, who was supposed to make films, decided to write short stories, novelettes and novels instead. She, who's had her films listed on festival programs, has been printed in a dozen anthologies and magazines since. She, who always dreamed of making a feature film, is having her novels published.

She who likes dark things prefers night to day, rain to sun, and reading to anything else.
